Guiding PrinciplesKirsten Kuhnert as a motivational speakerSince her book was first published in 2000, Kirsten Kuhnert was oftenly invited to conferences and company meetings. When she speaks, she is able to motivate people through her determination and the outstanding message. read a sample from her book: Success arises from the head AND the heart No matter how far you go and how much you learn, there is always more
to experience and more to learn. If you feel one day: ‘That’s
it, I have got it’, you can almost be sure, the next lesson is arround
the corner and it will be another challenge. When I realized that many
people got positive inputs from my story and were looking for practical
advice and help for their every day lives, I had to think about it for
a while as it was ‘all normal’ for me. I grew up in a family
where we experienced a lot of love, although I had to ‘use my elbows’
and learned not to accept NO for an answer. On the other hand, during
my time owning the sponsoring agency I always had people around me who
were used to being successful, be it on the side of the company sponsors,
or on the side of the sportsmen, who only got sponsorships if they were
successful. In trying to write down what actually helped me, I realised
that by simply modelling those people during my difficult moments, I ‘intuitively’
did the right things which helped me to see it through. Not all of us
are so lucky to have direct contact to extremely successful people and
I was asked several times during TV, Radio and Press-Interviews to share
‘my secrets’. Well, there are no secrets. There are only things
you do and things you don’t do. And here is what I did. Here are
my personal guiding principles. They are a mix made out of values, experience
and practical tips. And the best thing about them is that they are free.
I received them from many other people and I am happy to share them with
you. Have a close look at them and if there is something you like, something
that expresses a feeling in one sentence, a feeling you are carrying with
you for a long time, feel free to use it. That reminds me of an old Chinese
fairytale, where a young man receives help from an old man and wants to
return the favour of receiving help. He asks the old man what he could
do for him. The old man says: ‘Son, do not try to repay me. But
I have one wish. Would you My Guiding Principles: 1. You can see properly only with the heart, the essential things are
invisible for the eyes. |
Kirsten Kuhnert is a beacon, a bright light clearly showing the direction towards courage, hope, love, success and persistence. |
